The St. Louis Cardinals and Los Angeles Dodgers are starting a four-game set on Monday night at Busch Stadium and both teams comes into the set as two of the best teams in the National League thanks to two very stellar pitching staffs.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are led at the front of their staff with two studs in Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke and have a solid rookie in Hyun-Jin Ryu. The Dodgers have the third best team ERA in the league at 3.42 entering Monday’s game and since taking over the closer’s role, Kenley Jansen has been solid.
The Cardinals are right behind the Dodgers in team ERA, in fourth place in all of MLB at 3.43 and feature their own ace, Adam Wainwright. Lance Lynn is trying to be an ace as well with his 13 wins, just one season removed from an 18-win campaign. Finally, the Cardinals have a stud rookie too in Shelby Miller.
